Consider it not strange the firery trial which will test you

I once heard someone say that in pottery you can test to see if the pot is done by flicking it with your finger. If it makes a "thuud" sound, you know it needs more time but if when you flick it, it makes a resounding singing sound, it is done.
Am I done? In my current trial am I singing and praising? Or am I a thud?
Ahhh... the thought of worshiping during the fire sounds peaceful.
